There are a billion Manga & Anime fans all over the world and One Piece now sold more volumes than Harry Potter.
Paradoxically, there is a blatant lack of anime/manga-related entertainment outside of the official content (chapters and episodes).
In fact, Anime fans (us) spend a lot more time waiting for the next episode than watching their favorite content. They suffer from withdrawal.
Sekai is building their daily-fix between episodes with epic live and online events, revolving around officially-licensed apps that are mixing our reality with Anime’s.
Our first officially licensed app is based on one the biggest manga/anime title in history. It is a casual & collectibles app with the following core loop:
The users’ objective is to open portals to collect "fragments" symbolizing the series' iconic characters, locations, objects and events. Their daily activity (number of steps, distance…) enables them to collect resources in order to make these fragments fulfill their original story and complete the saga.
We have raised >€6M to date (dilutive and non-dilutive) and gathered industry leaders to launch within a few months our first app based on one of the biggest Anime IPs of all time.
